Santa’s race in Issy les Moulineaux (Paris suburb)

Every year, in early December, there is an event that I really enjoy watching : the ” corrida de Noël d’Issy les Moulineaux.” (Santa’s running race – where everybody is dressed up to run a 5km race)

Unfortunately, this year, due to the recent terrorist attack in Paris, this event has been canceled because it is in Paris suburb, and Police officers cannot provide enough people and logistic to secure that event and make it really safe.

So instead of enjoying watching that race, I’ve decided that I’ll share with you some photos of the previous years 🙂

Because dressing up to run is fun, it makes people laugh, smile and quite happy, these are the reasons why I really love that event !

I also love that event because honestly, I don’t have that many chances in my life to cheer and scream things like “come on Santa, you can do it !!!!” or “watch outtttttttt there is a present just behind you !!!!!!”, “faster faster faster, you’re about to be passed by a reindeer !!!” 🙂 🙂 🙂

I hope you’ll enjoy these photos ! 🙂

Hi there

Photographer, traveler, and silly knitter

Alone, driving a car for miles and miles, with a good music playlist, my cameras on the passenger seat.

Witnessing the beauty of a landscape, or the raw feeling of real love, emotions and bonds people may have with each other and sometimes crying just because this is just so beautiful...

That's where my best memories come from... and photos too :)

Andalusian in my heart, I've been dancing sevillanas (flamenco) for more than 12 years, I also spent 2 years living in USA. (I'm deeply in love with Oregon and the Pacific Northwest area)

Native French, I do speak English, and Spanish and love learning about cultural differences

Feel free to contact me  for further informations :)
